Ed Wisdom III is the Director of Development and Operations (DevOps) and member of executive leadership with Information Technology at Vanderbilt University. Ed is also a motivational speaker, founder of The Edward H. Wisdom Jr. Foundation (The Wisdom Foundation), and chief advisor of WIZDOM I/O, a technology services provider. Ed has thirty years of experience in computers and technology where he has excelled in software development, data and analytics, cloud computing, and identity and access management. Ed is a graduate of Tennessee State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Business Administration (BBA, MBA) with a concentration in Management Information Systems. As a motivational speaker, Ed delivers a powerful message on growth and empowerment all over the city (Nashville, TN), at prisons, juvenile detention centers, churches, schools, universities, throughout the media, and more. Ed has also co-authored the medical abstract, The Image-to-Physical Liver Registration Sparse Data Challenge, with the Vanderbilt Institute of Surgical Engineering (VISE) Biomedical Modeling Lab on its research of image-guided liver surgery.
